Powerful earthquake in Indonesia

Earthquake magnitude 7.4 degrees on the Richter scale took place this afternoon local time, on the southern coast of the Indonesian island of Java, at a depth of 60 kilometers, said the U.S. Geological Service.
Earthquake felt in the capital Jakarta, some 200 kilometers north of the epicenter, where the building ljuljale.
Pacific Earthquake Monitoring Center said the tsunami that the earthquake was strong enough to cause tsunami in the area, but high waves so far not been identified.
The city Tasikmalaja, which is the nearest epicenter, many buildings were damaged, local media reported.
So far no reports of casualties.
Earthquakes are very frequent in Indonesia, given that the island country located in the so-called belt Vatenom Pacific.
Earthquake which occurred 26th December 2004. with the epicenter near the island of Sumatra caused a tsunami which killed around 230,000 people, the hardest hit Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and India.
