Use of the settlement with Intel

The recent settlement agreement between Intel and AMD will bring in new business from AMD and its customers benefit, the company announced. Although it will still need to pass the year before AMD become fully competitive to Intel, the company expects its market share begin to grow, including the products such as processors for notebook PCs, said CEO Dirk Meyer . He said that potential buyers have the freedom to choose AMD's products as it could in the past.
