Intel agreed with the university
University of Wisconsin has reached an agreement on the settlement with Intel. Namely, the Department of the University Patent sued Intel, claiming that the company violated a patent that is owned by the University and which relates to the Core 2 Duo processors. The trial should begin a few days ago and both sides informed the court that they reached agreement on the settlement. However, neither side did not want to disclose the financial results of alignment. University of Wisconsin argued that the Intel Core family of processors from violating a patent in 1998 based on the work of professors of computer science university Gurindar Sohi-I.
