Access to energy resources there 1.6 billion people

The second day of the World Economic Forum started quite early, at 7:30. Union of African countries for the participants of the forum organized a solemn breakfast at the Hotel Furama. Given that China is six hours difference compared to our local time, it is not difficult to guess how I feel.

For breakfast I had a meeting with Mr. Arthur G. Mutambarom, Deputy Prime Minister of Zimbabwe. There is a very interesting resume: former student at Oxford University with a doctorate in robotics and mathematics, led the student protests of 1986-1988, released from prison last year, the arrival of the Democratic Party to power. He said that the main objectives of the new government infrastructure, science and informatics, hidroindustrija and green technologies. He invited me to come to visit his country.

I can say that Daljen very strong naučnotehnološki center of China. Over 20 universities and 200,000 students speak in favor of that is randomly chosen to organize this forum. There are four highly developed industries: high-tech, software, oil and chemical, and green technology. The number "one" in the production of ships in China, a large company, "Intel moved its production of chips in this city.

Today, organized visits to their high-tech park, where we visited two very sophisticated technology companies. One is called "Luming lajting and national pride of China. At the entrance we were met by the owner and soldiers salutiraju. The company produces LED lighting, which has 10 times less consumption than normal and very low thermal emission.

The second is "Sunrise Power, whose technology converts hydrogen into electricity for the motor industry and home exchanges. Stipulate that their technology will be commercialized only for 10 years. At the Olympics in Beijing, use the "Sunrise" hydrogen buses and cars to transport participants.

Personally, I ride the motorcycle hydrogenous drive. I was not so bad, and is cheap!

After returning from the high-tech park, I had a meeting with the Minister for Science and Telecommunications of Pakistan Mr. Muhammad Azam Khan Svatijem. Pakistan market for us is very interesting, primarily because 90 million people who are technologically very educated. Over 60 million people have mobile phones, and more than 45 percent have Internet access. Minister of technological capacity compared Pakistan with India and China, especially in the field of software, but failed to mention the military potential of his country as a nuclear power. Pakistan along with China produces a lot of military aircraft that compete with American F-17 torpedoes and cruise, which can easily be water-air missiles.

Since the number of sessions that were held today, I chose one that was dedicated to energy. In fact, almost all are dedicated to alternative energy sources, but we made the most interesting - "Alternative Energy for the rise in the economy." China next year will be the most populous country in the world. Will overtake India with 1.5 billion inhabitants.

Existing sources of energy is less and becomes more expensive. Around 1.6 billion world population has no access to any sources of energy, of which 400 million Indians. Energy future is in alternative energy sources: solar energy, wind energy, geothermal energy ...
