Denmark lost the status of the only energy independent country

Denmark will soon lose the status of the only energy independent countries of the European Union, which has since the nineties of the last century, because it will indicate how the National Energy Agency (DEA), oil and gas reserves of the country in the North Sea to be exhausted in the next ten years.

Exploitation of gas in Denmark will continue to decline from 15 billion cubic meters this year to about three billion cubic meter in 2025, with approximately the same year at the level of the needs of nine billion cubic meters.
DEA warns, in the latest report on the serious economic consequences of attrition energy reserves, the country will be forced to import more fuel.
